Goldy Gold and too many moods.

Part 2 : Matthew Williamson A/ W 2011 at London Fashion Week
 Coats and Jackets.

The outerwear is quite impressive and have variety of moods and designs in it which is enough to complete the look.
The Mongolian styled wool gilets from black to grey with lovely embilleshment of embroidered lace with fringes. White Fur jacket with horizontal tiers of black feather insertions worn over cable knit sweater.Black and White chevron short jacket with fine brushed fur cuffs . Wool cape with fur wrap and neat leather biker jackets in luxury colours of grey and camel with quilt stich shoulder lines. Another interesting  aspect in tailored jackets is lining inserts that look chic.

 Dresses
Though long dresses been floating around from Day 1 in London Fashion Week so this collection also have lovely long evening dresses that make me to say  “Oh that’s beautiful “ for I don’t have that fashion expert terminology that I often confess about . Printed red and mauve dress with front long slit and deep v neck enticing all way .Another dress that reminds me more of Indian saree is the blue and black printed dress adorned with stole finished with feathery hem. In short length dresses there are dresses with good use of intricate work of embroidery .Beads ,sequins , furry fringes or feather hems running over the chest  or in tiers .Prints and some more  disco print silks specifically tomaty one bit too vibrant .

Beaded over the neckline area and feather inserts.

Some Silks and Leather in Stitch details

Trousers

Lets move forward to  trousers .
Leather motorcross  trousers with too much of stiching skill added in each pair which is bit clear in closeup shots though photos aint brilliant for I don’t have that professional camera to capture every detail  but  you can have magnified look in british vogue or harper bazaar website.Silky jodhpurs in bright red  and orange paired with leather biker jacket and I liked the teaming of blue heels in orange one where most of the upper half stays too nude . Then  some black harems  ,pink disco print pants. and Silky suit in cobalt blue .

Mix of black and red Cobalt Blue Suit paired with printed blouse.
   Stiching Details
in quilted format

Wraps that are all the way Chic !

Part 5 : Matthew Williamson A/ W 2011 at London Fashion Week
 Skirts

This is my favourite bit . Short and warp style simple but absolutely trendy. Leather biker skirts in grey ,nude or pink come padded .A liitle knit wrap skirt I have earlier written about in this post .Paired in silk disco print shirts.

Red Wrap Skirt paired with Disco Print Shirt.
Silver tassels.

Embroidered short dresses.

 Embroidery

Though many dresses are worn with very minimal textile embellishments but in Matthew Williamson’s collection we see some  full length embroidery in short dresses.

I have seen embroidery work of complete craftsmanship in many of Indian outfits like anything infact no traditional suit is left without adding embroidery bit to it . But when it comes to adding embroidery to a knitwear its more different for you are working on loose knit areas .However the embroidery style used in big petals on black dress remind me of machine embroidery done in wool yarns .
Use of red vs grey in feet looks cool  Swing Coat in Black and Grey  Print paired with Embroidery piece.

Bingo at London Fashion Week.

Tweeting the good old days of grandmother .

Taking the flow of combo’s
from last post I am now talking of another combination that is no less than working on the pieces of jigsaw puzzle .

Granny , Bingo ,Crochet  and budgerigars  in no way go with each other if we see in real sense , too contrast to each other .

Have a look how  Henry Holland  in his A / W 2011 –12 Collection has done it all seem to be perfect connect FOUR .

clever magic .

 Alphabet tights by Pretty Polly.

Tweeds in Candy colours.
The tailored line in tweeds goes one step ahead in  subversion style of suit into almost cycling short lengths. Tweed dresses with pearl bead  around the neckline and seams makes it absolutely girls favourite

Pearl detail around the seam lines of the tweedy dress that flirts to fullest.

Pastel shades ,the classic red lips  and 60's leads every girls heart to excitement .

The crochet  print from good old afghan blanket is my favourite bit .

Navy leather Jacket and oversized scarf speaks the fun language of style.
