Eco Chic Images of Imagination 

For those who been regular with my blog know that recently i blogged about sustainable fashion.From time to time many events do get conducted to educate people about sustainable living . Supermodel Erin O'Connor  been part of such cause of work to show how stunning ethical clothing can be.Even if you don't understand the fashioning in ethical you don't have to worry for nobody knows what Sustainable Fashion is ? According to Gucci 's Frida Giannini sustainable fashion is something that stand through test of time and Oscar de la renta terms it something that is created with traditional techniques.You don't have to be fashion expert to enjoy the images of imagination woven for Eco Chic clothes. The words " sustainability " , "eco " , "green ", " organic "or "ethical " do make us to realise our social responsibility towards keeping the ecological balance. However complicated the explanation is but simply opposite to disposable fashion.

Recently at Spring Trade Fair i caught up with few satin dresses that tells us that there are traders who continue to bring eco-friendly materials  and is part of growing trend philosophy.This summer if you are looking to spend a few more hours with the sun then here is a glimpse of few satin dresses that you can try in various styles. Wear it as ponchos or experiment them in your own style get connected with eco trend .For you i have tried to draw few of my illustrations though not very brilliant but good enough to get an idea.

Women Freedom Style

Victoria Beckham  violet to desert brights .
Draping styles of  ancient Rome or Greek dress form  have always attracted many designers to experiment with.In particular Victoria Beckham 's relaxed violet parachute dress knotted loosely at the waist is fairly fab and georgeous.Experimenting with three metres of cloth must not be easy for Victoria Beckham to present creativity in draping style and flowing folds.

 Her collection from Spring Summer to Autumn Winter this year is Informally chic .You have some interesting colours to wear from violet ,orange ,metallic ,cadillac pink in spring to colours of ochre ,saffron ,brick and scarlet in autumn the colour pallete of painting a landscape truly.But more interesting are the shapes that flatters the body and cuts that have volume and movement .

For Spring Summer  dresses in knot style reminds of ancient Rome and  frock  refrences are from 1960's classic fits and flare silhouettes.
For Autumn Winter 2011 more freedom of movement and comfort.
Simple shapes with drop waisted pleats and stand up collars.

Jewellery doesn't get more playful than this.

No look completes without accessories and they have become an essential fashion item to match with an outfit.However , multiple choice is available now a days and we can go bit further for personalised statement with use of Charms . I actually find them to be the best pieces of jewellery .

Charms offer us to go creative to make our bracelet to stand out and look special.I must confess that i like to collect my own pieces which is letting my jewellery to grow with me . Real Collectable item to try out variations in wearing them around the wrist or neck and many jewellers allow the facility of customising .Lets you to be playful by  interchanging it with other pieces according to outfit or occassion . Charms are so easy to attach and swap whichever way we like .Mix and match with beads and spacers to create a jewellery that no one has , making every piece a unique style of your own.

I just like this piece of jewellery for they just compliment the personality of the wearer. Charms comes in wide range of  prices and metals  so its best to know your budget before buying them .Its something that enchants every women i guess ! This i can assure you from the fact that during Spring Fair women were hovering around the Charm Jewellers Stalls like anything. Women just love it  , its uniqueness is perfectly to make every women special.

You can pick beads ,spacers and tie it in leather for more striking and bold look .Double it up for more personalised look.

a great way to compliment any of the jewellery pieces by mixing with these hearts to treat yourself to something special may be this valentine.

Bracelets an enchanting Picnic !

At Spring Fair International the Jewellery Show was center of attraction and it was most exciting jewellery exhibition i have ever  been to.It is said that this  jewellery trade exhibition in the UK had over 40,000 new products launches from over 400 exhibitors from small to big traders in this field .The Pandora Catwalk Cafe was something unique to see , WGSN with its global trend forecasting and some educational seminars and SEO topics were also covered.

Now switching to talk about bracelets one of my favourite trends in accessories for Spring Summer 2011.If we look on runways of Spring Collection 2011 we will notice big chunky bangles.The bangle bracelets teamed in two's or three's look brilliant or another way to wear them is to mix and match or pile lots of skinny bangles together to add a flair to your wrist with a difference.

Chunky bangle bracelets is my favourite .They come in so many different materials beads , stones , crystals  etc uniquely designed with eye catching details, textures and colours.  Wear few chunky bracelets at once and you are ready with your statement.In this photo are some chunky irregular butterfly patterned bracelets in acrylic available in four spring personified colours .

Another collection of butterfly pattern chunky bracelets  in irregular shape . The colours are naturally bright pigments celebrating spring.

Like hemlines are going in tail and asymmetrical so are these irregular bangle bracelets.Here are another concentric circle pattern chunky bracelets in acrylic .

Nothing completes a spring collection without having floral patterns .I found wooden chunky bangles in handpainted flower pattern .This looks quite enchanting with entire spectrum of nature in it .

Go Scarfy with Sustainable Fashion

Some Mulberry Silk Scarves from International Spring Trade Fair .

Spring Trade Fair is over for this year but my story about  it has just started so take into account for some days i am going to blog on it .The reason for it is that there were so many collections from across the globe that are worth sharing and talking about.

I wandered and wandered from one hall to another and back and forth ha ha i wasn't searching for water like wanderer in the desert . There were lovely items from across the globe to look around and to know about .From small traders to big names all under one roof displayed there unique collections.

I must confess , I can't  talk in fashion language that intelligently as some do about sustainable fashion nor do i am aware of rules of this eco fashion philosophy but i can speak about  fashion in my very basic terminology " oh that's lovely ! " or " oh that's too tacky ! " . The items that leave some kind of impression in mind normally we talk about  ,the fashion that  gets vibration of liking , for the one we don't like we don't buy ... it doesn't sell for me despite of having connection with sustainable fashion behind it or despite of having something to do with 100% cotton or other plant fibers or protien fibers.

However , here i am blogging about some scarves and more which have some connection with sustainable fashion .In Spring Trade Fair i came across quite a lot of scarves made out of different types of fabrics some natural and some synthetic .On the stall floor  of trade fair there were some silk scarves . The trader described it as Mulberry Silk Scarves . More deeply on the label it describes " the ethical silk ,made from the cocoon of the silk worm after he's left home - for 100 % recycled living. " Scarves are with proper finishing at the edges and in lovely colours teal , pink , turquiose , purple , orange and lime .The two fold  floral motifs illustrated to wear it around the neck in wrap style or tie knot style plenty of ways to go scarfy .I like these type of scarves more  clean neckerchiefing style easy and smart style.

Hope these scarves not only add style in your personality but is also successful to spread its message of planet friendly environment.

A liitle Americana

 A little Americana.

The land of American dream is all about hardwork and laid back. The contrasts that interpret inspirations from paintings , prints, from licence plates to household objects .The neutrals and jewel tones to reflect the urban cool style of the famous cities of America.

Mixing classic style and art deco . Here i have picked bits from Spring Trade Fair 2011 that show exotic skins , finely tooled faux leather and soft leather pieces  some with intricate detailing  and some structured for casual look.

Americana style  is related with comfort . The good thing about this style is that you can give it a clean dressy look or casual look of street .There are many hints of classic americana style in womenswear from long gloves to pencil skirts , from trousers rolled up to expose ankles to simpler style of clothing .

Now the world is more of personal styling ,the style that makes you happy .
